Job DescriptionAs a Security Officer Manufacturer Mobile Patrol Driver in Elkton, MD , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer supporting a healthcare location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide professional customer service and clear communication. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy. DayTimeSat03:00 PM - 11:00 PMSun03:00 PM - 11:00 PMWhat You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
- Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of healthcare facility areas, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity or hazards.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site-specific policies, assisting with directions and access-related questions as needed.
- Prepare accurate incident reports and communicate observations, concerns, and security-related information to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
Minimum Requirements:
- At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Proof of high school diploma or equivalent is required
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
