(60%)Communicates plan of care and involves physician in clinical decision making of any issues that are outside CRNP knowledge base or scope of practice. (20%)Communicates and coordinates patient care with patient, family, community health services and inter-disciplinary team. (10%)Demonstrates professional commitment through voluntary attendance at continuing education programs, independent reading and other professional activities. (10%)Performs other duties as assigned or required.QualificationsMinimum:Master's degree in Nursing and graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program with specialization in area of practice; or four to ten years' related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.State licensure as a Nurse Practitioner (CRNP)Preferred:Doctorate degree Certified Nurse Practitioner (CRNP)Experience with psychiatric patientsAdditional Employment RequirementsPsychiatric and Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (obtained within 2 years)Prescriptive Authority within 60 days of hire.
