Responsibilities Prepare and administer an annual operating budget for the parts department based on Retail, Wholesale and Customer‑Pay (Repair Order) sales. Maintain a balanced inventory consistent with the requirements of the service department, body shop, wholesale accounts and the do‑it‑yourself public. Establish pricing parameters in each customer category that generate sufficient gross profit to produce a satisfactory profit while maintaining customer loyalty. Establish individual parts inventory levels and balance them for maximum turnover. Monitor and adjust Days’ Supply for critical and fast‑moving parts categories and numbers. Monitor and adjust inventory to minimize obsolescence and maintain Inventory Aging guidelines. Direct shipping and receiving efforts to ensure timely processing. Manage the parts inventory and track expenses. Work with the service manager and shop foreman to ensure a timely turnaround of parts needed for internal jobs. Continue to maintain Asbury’s value, quality, and integrity. Strong customer service skills are a must. Attention to detail and strong organizational skills required. Experience with CDK or Reynolds is a plus. Must have a minimum of 3 years’ experience as an Automotive Parts Employee. Previous Automotive Parts Management experience required. Must be able to manage in a fast‑paced work environment. Must be a minimum of eighteen years of age and able to pass pre‑employment screens (background & drug test). Qualifications Minimum 3 years’ experience as an Automotive Parts Employee. Previous Experience in Automotive Parts Management. Strong customer service, attention to detail, and organizational skills. Proficiency with CDK or Reynolds systems preferred. Ability to perform in a fast‑paced work environment. Minimum age eighteen years and successful completion of background & drug screening.
