Job Overview:
Pay Range: $50.09hr - $53.94hr
Requirement/Must Have:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Database Developer with strong Oracle PL/SQL development skills.
- Hands-on experience with Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) for ETL development.
- Proficiency in creating and managing Excel macros.
- Strong debugging and code troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to translate complex business requirements into effective technical solutions.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, optimize, and maintain PL/SQL code to support business applications.
- Design and implement ETL processes using Oracle Data Integrator (ODI).
- Create and maintain Excel macros to support data manipulation and reporting needs.
- Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve code issues efficiently to ensure system reliability.
- Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather and translate business requirements into technical specifications.
- Develop scalable and robust database solutions that integrate MES and financial systems.
- Work with BI tools such as Oracle Analytics Cloud, Power BI, and/or Tableau to support data visualization and reporting needs.
- Ensure data integrity, security, and performance within database applications.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and documentation to maintain high-quality standards.
- Perform analysis of business models, logical specifications and/or user requirements to design solutions.
- Manage application development as well as the application environment.
- Lead tool evaluation efforts, including the definition of evaluation criteria and identification of tools.
- Interact with and manage product vendors/suppliers.
Nice to Have:
- Experience working with BI tools such as Oracle Analytics Cloud, Power BI, and/or Tableau.
- Experience integrating Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and Financial Systems.
- Experience with Oracle database administration, developing and performance tuning SQL queries.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
- Knowledge of additional ETL tools or programming languages.
