Outdoor Lighting TechnicianAn Outdoor Lighting Perspectives Lighting Technician will be responsible for installation of low voltage outdoor lighting systems generally in residential settings but occasionally in commercial and hospitality setting as well.Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesAssembling lights and mounting them in prescribed locationsSpeaking with the customer to upsell other productsProvide customer with system orientation as applicableProper care and operation of company vehiclesEnsuring there are proper inventory levelsRunning and burying low voltage wiring in landscape areas and lawnsMounting transformers and connecting wire runsClean up of all areas affected by the installationProviding direction and/or assistance to other installers when applicableSpeaking with clients to inform and educate them about additional products and services availableClimbing and moving ladders and working on roofs, typically 2-3 stories highSmall Truck DrivingEssential Skills & AttributesValid driver's licenseMakes a good first impression by being personable, and comfortable with meeting new peopleEnjoys interacting with customers with respect and integrityAbove-average technical abilityAttention to detail and respect for our customer's propertySystematic in their approachProactive, problem solverStrong sense of pride and integrity in work productComfortable working on ladders and roof topsEducation, Training, ExperienceHigh school diploma or GED.Ideal candidate should have varied computer experience.Experience with low voltage electricity preferredPrior outdoor lighting installation experience highly valuedOutdoor Lighting Perspectives is an equal opportunity employer and supports a drug-free workplace.
