Inventory Auditor

Assist a team audit leader with accurately counting and recording inventory at each location Travel daily in a company-provided vehicle to scheduled locations for inventory counts Scan and count most items throughout the store, including cooler and freezer areas Download scanner data to the store computer to produce an accurate inventory total Notify the store manager of incorrect prices and remove out-of-code merchandise Perform surveys to verify compliance with operational and financial procedures Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing related results as needed Follow safety procedures, rules and regulations Perform duties that may change with or without advance notice Requirements Must be over 18 years old Must have High school diploma or GED Must have a valid driver’s license Ability to travel daily between locations in a company-provided vehicle Ability to sit, talk and/or hear regularly Ability to use hands to handle or grasp items frequently Ability to stand, walk, and reach with both hands and arms occasionally Ability to lift items weighing up to 25 lbs routinely Ability to work in a moderate-noise environment with natural and fluorescent lighting Ability to work safely while complying with procedures, rules and regulations Ability to work independently with little supervision Ability to perform and multitask in a fast-paced environment Core Competencies Demonstrates strong inventory management skills, including accurate counting and recording of inventory, compliance with operational procedures, and effective communication with store management.
