Responsibilities
- Provide health care services in patients residences
- Perform Light household tasks
- Transport and accompany patients to the doctor's office or run errands if authorized
- Assistance with Medications
- Assist with clients personal care (bathing, grooming, dressing)
- Monitor patients (vital signs, temperature, respiration, etc) and report on their condition
- Maintain patients care records and document provided services
- Assist patients with mobility and physical therapies/exercises
- Meal preparation based on diet
- Provide companionship and basic emotional support
Skills
- Proven working experience as HHA, CNA, PCT, Nursing Assistant, Caregiver
- Ability to monitor vital signs
- Familiarity with basic nutrition and personal hygiene standards
- Proficiency in English Bilingual a PLUS
- Caring and compassionate personality in a professional manner
- Current CPR certificate
- TB Skin Test (tuberculosis test results) or Chest X-Ray report
- HHA or CNA Training Certificate
- Assist with Medications
- HIV
- Alziehmers Certification of training
- Valid driver’s license
- Social Security
- High school degree
