Key Responsibilities As a Remote Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, your key responsibilities will include: Conducting thorough diagnostic evaluations and assessments to pinpoint specific client needs and formulating appropriate strategies. Designing and implementing personalized treatment plans for individuals, couples, and families, integrating therapeutic techniques suited to their goals. Providing a range of therapeutic services including individual therapy, couples therapy, and group sessions, while adjusting methods based on client progress and feedback. Empowering clients by teaching coping skills, problem-solving techniques, and strategies for stress management. Collaborating with other healthcare professionals as necessary, to ensure a holistic approach to client care that addresses all aspects of a person's well-being. Maintaining accurate, up-to-date documentation of client progress and treatment plans, adhering to regulatory and ethical standards. Engaging in continuous education and training opportunities to remain informed about the latest advancements in mental health therapies and practices. Patient Population / Client Focus Your primary focus will be on a diverse clientele ranging from individuals facing life transitions, couples navigating relationship challenges, to families in need of coordinated support. This role requires sensitivity and adaptability to meet the varying emotional and psychological needs of clients from different backgrounds. Qualifications To excel in this position, you will need: A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field. A current and valid license as a Marriage and Family Therapist. A minimum of 2 years of experience providing therapy services in a clinical setting. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, enabling effective relationship-building with clients. The ability to work autonomously while managing a substantial caseload efficiently. Proficiency in electronic health record systems and relevant therapeutic technologies. A strong understanding of ethical guidelines and confidentiality principles in therapy. Preferred Experience While a minimum of 2 years’ experience is required, candidates with additional expertise in specific therapeutic methodologies, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) or family systems therapy, will be given preference. Experience with diverse client populations and advanced training in trauma-informed care are highly valued. Compensation and Benefits Hopewell Counseling Services offers a competitive salary ranging from $70,000 to $90,000 annually, complemented by a comprehensive benefits package.
