Position Summary

Responsible for maintaining and repairing the facility.

Core Functions and Duties

• Maintain and repair facility. Drywall, drywall patching, painting, floor patching, plumbing, electrical, hydraulics, pneumatics, chillers, boilers, air compressors.
• Operate within the GMP specifications and Food Safety Regulations.
• Perform major and minor electrical installation.
• Repair and maintain physical structure using paints, masonry, woodwork and plumbing.
• All other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications and Competencies

1. High school diploma or equivalent required; general education college a plus.

2. Minimum 1 yr experience in food production maintenance and repair of machinery.

3. Minimum 1 yr experience in electrical repairs to equipment and machinery with high voltage 120V, 208/220V, 480V

4. Must be able to read electrical schematics, trouble shoot and repair basic electrical problems.

5. Must be able to rebuild pumps on an automated packaging machinery, knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic.

6. Knowledge in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher-intermediate a plus.

7. Knowledge: basic mathematics-addition, subtraction, multiplication.

8. Knowledge of lock-out/tag out, GMPS.

9. English Language (Speaking/Listening/Writing/Reading).

10. Skills: Communication skills verbal and written, reading comprehension, active listening, problem solving,

coordination, service orientation, multitasking, team player, strong leadership qualities, independent, and detail oriented.
