TEKsystems has a current job opportunity for a highly experienced Senior MAVEN Architect & Operations Integrator to serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Palantir MAVEN solutions supporting DISA GSM-O II TN 23 program on Fort Meade, MD.

This Senior -level role requires a candidate who can bridge the gap between complex DOW operational requirements and advanced data architecture. This role will focus on architecting and building MAVEN capabilities to drive the DISA Common Operational Picture (COP) and integrating those tools with ongoing knowledge and portal management strategies.

A successful candidate will be a highly technical data integrator and view-builder who can expertly map complex data structures to construct dynamic operational dashboards, with the technical agility to rapidly master the MAVEN environment.

Key Responsibilities

Serve as a MAVEN Architecture & Mission Integration SME:

• Architect, design, and lead the development of advanced operational dashboards and mission views within the MAVEN Smart System ecosystem, acting as the primary technical authority for DISA J 3/5/7 MAVEN deployments.
• Serve as the principal liaison to Senior military and civilian stakeholders. Lead the translation of highly complex, enterprise-level Joint Staff and DISA mission requirements into efficient technical workflows, data models, and easy-to-use visualizations in MAVEN/Foundry.
• Design and oversee the integration of multi-source intelligence data, mapping complex data structures (APIs, SQL, JSON) to power intuitive front-end MAVEN visualizations and modernize existing CIP/COP systems.
• Strategically integrate data from analytics platforms, sensor feeds, and existing machine learning outputs into intuitive operational workflows to enhance real-time mission decision-making and situational awareness.
• Proactively develop, curate, and champion new use cases for the MAVEN Smart System (MSS), anticipating the future visual and data needs of DISA operations before they become critical requirements.

Portal Management & Technical Integration:

• Provide Senior technical leadership within an agile development team, actively participating in technical interchange meetings, architectural reviews, and sprint planning.
• Drive continuous service improvement initiatives, identifying opportunities to streamline knowledge management, configuration management, and enterprise portal operations.
• Architect integration strategies to ensure MAVEN-derived insights are seamlessly incorporated into broader enterprise collaboration portals and existing team tools (e.g., SharePoint, ServiceNow, Jira).

• Looking for people with a SharePoint Development background – everyone on the team has this background
• Helping them build an operational dashboard in their systems platform with Palantir products
• Fully on-site
• Previous Palantir product experience would be advantageous and put someone at the top of their list, but not required

• Very good working relationships, especially the team on-site in Fort Meade. Very relaxed environment
• They talk development, talk code all the time – “geek” out
• 9 people on the team right now, 1 in Hawaii, 1 in Europe, 1 in Florida, and 5 in-house at DISA

This is a Senior -level technical role supporting the DISA GSM-O II TN23 program at Fort Meade. The position focuses on Palantir MAVEN architecture, data integration, operational dashboard development, and Common Operational Picture (COP) modernization. The role bridges operational mission requirements and technical implementation, enabling leaders to make real-time decisions using integrated data and visualizations.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Required Skills

• Extensive hands-on experience architecting and building interactive dashboards, operational views, and geospatial analytics using GUI-based data platforms (e.g., Palantir MAVEN/Foundry, Kibana, Splunk, or Tableau).
• Expertise in mapping complex data structures (SQL, XML, JSON) and leveraging existing APIs (REST/SOAP) to construct and configure the data objects that power intuitive front-end visualizations.
• High proficiency in building cohesive, user-facing applications and operational views that support real-time decision-making, combined with the technical agility to rapidly master new plug-and-play builder environments like MAVEN.

Basic Qualifications

• Clearance: Active TS/SCI Security Clearance
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field with 12–15 years of relevant professional experience, OR a Master’s degree with 10–13 years of relevant experience
• Experience supporting Agile software development environments
• Experience developing and maintaining enterprise-level knowledge management portals
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional technical and operational stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

• Direct, recent experience supporting DISA J 3/5/7 operations, Joint Staff Command Centers, or equivalent high-echelon DOW operational environments (e.g., familiarity with Command and Control (C2) systems or Joint Planning workflows)
• Relevant certifications or formal training in GUI-based data analytics and dashboard platforms (e.g., Splunk Core Certified Power User, Tableau Certified Data Analyst, Elastic/Kibana training, or Palantir Foundry/Maven bootcamps)
• Certifications or proven experience supporting the Portal and Knowledge Management aspects of the role, such as ITIL v4 Foundation (for Continuous Service Improvement), Knowledge Management Institute (KMI) certifications, or deep familiarity with integrating views into Atlassian (Jira/Confluence) or ServiceNow

This is a Contract position based out of Fort Meade, MD.

The pay range for this position is $75.00 - $90.00/hr.
