Physical Therapist - Travel Contract

Travel Physical Therapist Opportunity

Looking for a change of scenery and a chance to help others? Join as a traveling Physical Therapist where you'll help patients recover from injuries and manage chronic conditions while experiencing life in a new location.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's, Master's or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
• Active California PT license required to start the assignment.
• BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
• Minimum 1 year of outpatient orthopedic physical therapy experience. NO NEW GRADUATES. (Preferred: experience evaluating, developing, and implementing outpatient treatment plans and goals.)
• Experience with outpatient documentation systems, including timely evaluation notes, goal writing, quality indicators, letters of medical necessity, and charge entry.
• Demonstrated ability to supervise or provide direction to therapy aides or support staff and to participate in student clinical education when assigned.
• Ability to perform safe patient handling and follow infection control, materials handling, and workplace safety procedures.
• Maintains professional licensure in good standing and completes state-mandated continuing education.

Assignment Details

• Facility Type: Outpatient clinic.
• Schedule: 40 hours per week, 5x8 schedule.
• Duration: 13 week assignment.
• Floating: Candidate may be required to float to other clinic locations as needed.
