Job Description As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Specialist in Peoria, IL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a secure environment for employees and visitors. You will provide professional customer service, communicate clearly, and report security-related concerns. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $18.50 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon10:00 PM - 06:00 AMTue10:00 PM - 06:00 AMSat10:00 PM - 06:00 AMSun10:00 PM - 06:00 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a manufacturing and industrial location. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and escalation procedures. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouses, offices, parking areas, access points, and the facility perimeter to help identify unusual activity and policy concerns. Monitor access to the location by verifying credentials, observing visitor and contractor activity, and reporting unauthorized entry or suspicious behavior. Complete accurate reports, maintain activity logs, and communicate security-related observations and incidents to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision. Minimum Requirements: At least 1 year of security-related experience is required. CPR/First Aid certification is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
