**Join Our Dynamic Team as an Acute Care CT Technologist!** **Job Description** - Are you ready to take your career to new heights in a fast-paced and impactful environment? - As a CT Technologist in Acute Care, you will provide crucial health care services while assisting in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. - Produce high-quality images for interpretation by licensed practitioners and make a difference in patient care every day! **Key Responsibilities:** - Perform CT exams and procedures across various departments including NICU, CCU, and ED. - Assist Radiologists and medical staff during exams and procedures. - Handle ancillary duties related to the distribution, billing, and archival of exams. - Maintain accurate documentation for interpretation, reporting, and archiving. - Retrieve health information to ensure timely exam performance and reporting. - Participate in quality improvement initiatives. **Minimum Qualifications:** - Graduate of a CAHEA accredited Radiology program or equivalent. - ARRT R.T.(R) and advanced registry in CT, R.T.(CT). - Current American Heart Association BLS certification. - Two years of experience as a registered technologist; CT experience in a trauma center preferred. **Essential Skills:** - Demonstrate sound judgment and maintain a professional demeanor. - Exhibit strong communication skills, both verbal and written. - Analyze and prioritize work effectively in a busy environment. - Flexibility to work varied shifts and participate in call rotation. **Physical Requirements:** - Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds. - Capability to work extended hours, standing or walking for eight or more hours daily. - On-call availability required for organizational needs. **Exposure Risks:** - Potential exposure to bloodborne pathogens, radiation, and various healthcare chemicals. - Interaction with patients may involve dealing with emotionally charged situations. **Shift Information:** - Nights, 7:00 PM-7:30 AM, Friday through Sunday. **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** - At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country. - Enjoy competitive pay, seamless onboarding, and a supportive recruiter who's with you every step of the way. - Join us – where your expertise makes a difference every day!
