Shop Technician

Location: Reno, NV

Shift: 1st Shift 7:30AM-4:00PM

Duration: 0 – 3 Month

Pay: $20.00/Hour

Job Duties

Assemble fabricated parts, components, or units at production stations
Prepare parts for testing and perform testing and calibration to meet specifications
Identify units that fail tests or tolerance levels and repair them as needed
Perform complex machine setup
Inspect and test products to ensure quality standards are met
Perform and document scheduled preventative maintenance of production equipment
Determine sequence of operations, required materials, and procedures
Stage job materials for production according to procedures
Perform simple tasks such as screening, bagging, boxing, or cutting operations
Propose measures to improve productivity and efficiency

Qualifications

Experience with hand tools and power tools
Experience in electronics manufacturing and assembly
Ability to perform testing, calibration, and quality inspections
Basic knowledge of machine setup and troubleshooting
Understanding of production processes and safety procedures
