This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Shift: Days (07:00 AM - 07:30 PM) with alternating weekends required.

Job Description

The Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) will provide high-quality respiratory care to patients in an acute care hospital setting. The candidate will work collaboratively with healthcare teams to ensure appropriate treatment and care of patients under their supervision.

Responsibilities

• Administer respiratory therapy treatments and procedures.
• Monitor patient responses to treatment and adjust plans and procedures as necessary.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide optimal patient care.
• Educate patients and families on respiratory care and therapies.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in accordance with policies and procedures.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 1+ year of acute care hospital experience required.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications are mandatory.
• Candidates must have a permanent address located more than 50 miles from the facility.
• Must be willing to work every other weekend.
