Quality Inspector - 2nd Shift

Job TitleSchedule: Mon-Fri - 3PM-11PMResponsible for scrap, efficiency, and product quality on product line. Responsible for inspecting and packing quality bags into box/tote per bag specifications. Ensure that box/tote counts are accurate as per the bag specification. Perform product testing as needed to ensure on-going quality. Accountable for comprehending specifications and PQCT. Ensure that quality standards are upheld and that any suspect or defective product is reported for review and decision. Work as a team with others assigned to machine, including helping operators as needed. Participate in investigations and corrective actions for quality issues or customer complaints. Practice 5S, Good House Keeping, and Machine Sanitation per company standards. Learn to pack all bag specifications and at all machines in production facility. Aid in product retesting/re-inspection on Holds and Returns. Complete all documentation completely and accurately. Assist in the training of other Inspector/Packer personnel. Other responsibilities and projects as assigned.Quals-- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent. Experience: No previous experience required, on the job training provided. Specific Skills: Attention to detail, ability to work in a fast-paced environment Equipment & Machinery: Pallet jack.
