This role pays $2,124 per week and follows a Days shift with a 4x10 schedule. In this travel Certified Surgical Tech job, you will support patient care through specialty-specific clinical services, perform assessments and treatments within your scope of practice, document patient progress, operate relevant medical equipment, and collaborate with physicians and the broader care team to help deliver quality patient outcomes.Albany Medical Center is Northeastern New York's only academic medical center and Level I trauma center, a 766-bed tertiary hospital and the anchor of the Albany Med Health System, serving roughly three million people across a 25-county region.The radiology department performs nearly 200,000 exams a year, running a GE Revolution CT for one-beat cardiac imaging, eight MRI magnets (two of them 3T for cardiac, breast, fetal, prostate, and advanced neuro work), and a full interventional radiology service. An ACS-verified Level I adult and pediatric Trauma Center, with an ED seeing more than 75,000 visits a year, keeps trauma imaging heavy. Respiratory therapists support a high-volume ECMO program, alongside hybrid open and endovascular cardiac and vascular ORs. Cardiac catheterization covers adult diagnostic, EP, and PCI work, backed by adult cardiac surgery and a DNV-certified Comprehensive Stroke Center with a dedicated Neuro ICU.
