Registered Nurse Full Time / Part Time Weekends

Position Overview Join our not-for-profit organization that has provided over 100 years of housing and services to seniors with a commitment to quality care and service in a Christian environment. Position Details Facility: GSS ND Larimore Ctr Shift: Weekend Schedule: Full time Weekends - Friday/Saturday/Sunday Hours: 12-hour shifts Pay & Benefits: Hourly rate: $32.50+ depending on experience Sign-on bonus: $25,000 (paid out $12,500 after 60 days) Additional shift differentials for weekends Medical, dental, vision benefits, 401(k) retirement plan, and generous time-off package. Responsibilities Utilize the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, evaluation) to provide individualized care to residents. Collaborate with residents, families, and interdisciplinary colleagues, including providers, to plan, implement, and evaluate care. Provide care in all phases of prevention, health maintenance, diagnosis, and treatment. Coordinate care, perform resident assessment, educate residents, and carry out various nursing interventions. Serve as charge nurse when required and delegate tasks to licensed and unlicensed assistive personnel within scope and competence level. Ensure safe, reliable administration of resident care and resolve care and service concerns. Operate within the Nurse Practice Act and state administrative rules and the Professional Nursing Practice standards. Qualifications Graduate of a nationally accredited nursing program (CCNE, ACEN, or NLN CNEA) preferred; Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred. Current unencumbered RN license with the state board of nursing where the practice is occurring; multistate licensure acceptable for NLC states. Demonstrated competency in nursing scope of practice and appropriate age and population-specific standards.
