We're seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist to support student success during a 12-week maternity leave, with possible summer start dates for extended school year needs. This full-time, itinerant role covers multiple school sites, working across a diverse student population from early learners through high school. The ideal candidate brings expertise in school-based physical therapy, a flexible mindset, and a commitment to fostering growth and development in young learners.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid Florida Department of Health Physical Therapy license required.
• Previous school-based experience strongly preferred.
• Ability to work across multiple campuses, supporting a range of student age groups.
• Proficiency in collaborating with educators, families, and other related service professionals.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills.
• Candidates must complete required fingerprinting (status may transfer if cleared through the AHCA Clearinghouse), followed by acquisition of a district-specific badge (process may take up to 10 business days).
• On-site service only—remote/VOCO options are not available.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver physical therapy services in alignment with students’ individualized educational plans (IEPs) and school goals.
• Conduct assessments and develop tailored therapy interventions to support academic and physical participation.
• Document student progress, prepare reports, and participate actively in IEP meetings.
• Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and parents.
• Adapt therapeutic approaches to fit varied student needs and support integration into school activities.
