Locksmith
This position will be responsible for the maintenance of locks, keys and security systems and ensuring that all security devices are in adequate working condition.
Responsibilities include installing, maintaining, repairing and replacing all lock systems for campus buildings, apartments, equipment and property; cutting and issuing keys to faculty, staff and students; picking locks, changing settings of locks, opening safes and responding to emergency locksmith needs throughout campus; maintaining daily records of time and materials used on projects; maintaining records to accurately reflect key losses; repairing, rebuilding and replacing glass doors, door closures, floor hinges and other hardware; following all safety and other risk management policies in performance of work; attending safety meetings; and maintaining, repairing and cleaning tools, equipment and work areas.
Required qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent and two or more years of related work experience.
The proposed salary is $18.12 - $22.21 per hour for this non-exempt position paid on a biweekly basis.
