Production Associate

Job Title: Production Associate Join our dynamic production team as a Production Associate, where you will play an essential role in maintaining the flow of our production line. You'll be responsible for ensuring all safety and quality guidelines are followed while assisting in various stages of the production process. Responsibilities Follow all safety and quality guidelines. Assist in preparing the production line for runs, including proper safety checks and staging of raw materials. Conduct production counts, quality checks, and record downtimes. Operate all production equipment to meet defined standards and product specification targets. Properly handle raw materials. Assist in identifying potential quality issues and escalating them to the appropriate personnel. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the production and warehouse areas. Follow all SOPs, GMPs, and keep the company in compliance with certifications (Organic, Kosher, HACCP, SQF, etc.). Maintain 5s in the production department. Essential Skills Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), safety, and PPE requirements. Good communication and teamwork skills. Basic reading and math skills. Basic computer skills. Additional Skills & Qualifications Previous food manufacturing experience strongly preferred. Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus, but not required. Knowledge of manual and power jack operation (training will be provided as necessary). Redzone experience a plus, but not required. Ability to lift 55 lbs. Work Environment Work in a smaller, climate-controlled facility that smells like taco seasoning. Engage with a team‑oriented atmosphere during the hours of 6 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Thursday, with potential overtime on Fridays. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Kansas City, MO. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr.
