Qualifications:

The Healthcare worker shall possess and maintain the minimum qualifications stated:

BC in Psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology or the American Osteopathic Association.

A minimum of 2 years experience within the preceding 5 years as a full-time Psychiatrist; or graduation from a psychiatrist residency program within the preceding 12 months.

Provide 2 letters of recommendation written within the last two years attesting to the Health Care Worker's clinical skills. (1 letter from a physician,or nurse who has personally observed and evaluated teh Health Care Worker and who can attest to his/her clinical competence in the care of patients. The other letter from a clinic or hospital administrator, physician, or nurse whe has personal knowledge of Health Care Worker's patient care skills in a similar clinical environment.

Staffing and Scheduling:

Normally provided Monday through Friday between the hours of 700am-900pm. On-Call Required every Ten Weeks.

Duties:

Assess, evaluate, consult, differential diagnose, and plan treatment for all disorders defined by the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual for Mental Disorders (current edition) published by the American Psychiatric Association
