Senior Network AnalystBoston, MAJO-1503-042Job DescriptionWe are currently seeking a Senior Network Analyst to join the Network Operations Team. As a Senior Network Analyst you will be part of a team developing technology solutions for our clients and internal users. In this role your primary mission will be to assist in network installation and upgrade projects, create documentation for network solutions, and troubleshoot complex network issues.Job Requirements• 4 - 8 years of hands-on network support experience in a professional environment.• A strong understanding of routing protocols, QoS, Cisco switches and routers, wireless technologies, network diagnostics, network management software, network security, cable infrastructure and network operating systems.• A Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Networking, Information Technology, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering with a CCNA certification strongly desired.• Work with Data Technicians to help create and design solutions to keep up with and accommodate network expansion. Collaborate with other engineering groups, readily share information with others.• Assist fellow Network Engineers to implement major initiatives.• Stay abreast of current technologies; make recommendations based on knowledge and research.• Work on complex problems and provide innovative suggestions for solutions. Interface with global carriers to develop and implement data solutions.• Actively seek client and business input and take responsibility for internal and external client situations if necessary.• Identify inefficiencies and make suggestions for process improvements.• Troubleshoot, isolate and resolve medium and complex network problems (LAN, WAN and MAN).• Use appropriate tools to monitor and troubleshoot network issues.• Leads and/or participates in technical projects that are complex and require extensive coordination of resources. Work with Group Manager to define project plans, detail of activities, timetables and milestones.
