What To Expect The Failure Analysis Team’s mission is to determine root cause and contributing factors to improve the experience of Tesla’s products by reducing field issues, in collaboration with a community of other engineering teams. Engineers and technicians on the team are responsible for a wide variety of vehicle and energy product systems for existing models and models in development. This extremely high visibility individual contributor role requires extensive hands‑on work focused on CT scanning for electromechanical failure analysis and root cause activities. In this role, you will oversee daily lab operations, ensuring safety and efficiency in high‑volume failure analysis. You will manage technicians, prioritize workflow to meet QA/QC deadlines, and coordinate with engineering teams to escape critical findings. This role requires maintaining equipment compliance and enforcing accountability within the team.
