4 locations in Nassau County
Duties and Responsibilities
- Greet patients and perform pre-surgical preparations
- Assist the oral surgeon during surgery, providing suction, monitoring instruments, and swapping tools as necessary
- Provide post-operative instruction to patients regarding healing and care
- Operate x-ray equipment
- Disinfect, sterilize, and store equipment after use
Required Skills and Qualifications
- 2-3 years assisting experience required, preferably in an oral surgery environment
- CPR certification within 1 month of hire
- Strong communications skills and a calm demeanor in stressful situations
- Extremely organized and detail oriented
- Dexterity
- Listening skills
- Team player
