Open Positions ED – Night Shift (Multiple Openings) Schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM Status: Full-Time | 36 hrs/week (3x12) ED – Day Shift (Part-Time) Schedule: 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM Status: Part-Time | 20 hrs/week Note: Full-time orientation (8–10 weeks) is required regardless of part-time status Pediatric ED – Evening Shift Schedule: 3:00 PM – 3:00 AM Status: Full-Time | 36 hrs/week (3x12) Evening Shift Differential: Will discuss during interview Compensation & Benefits Base Pay: $36.00 – $55.80/hour (based on experience) Shift Differentials: Vary by shift and day — see above Sign-On Bonus: Available on select positions — inquire for details Medical & Dental (Cigna), 401(k), PTO, Fitness Center, EAP What You'll Do Assess, triage, and prioritize care across a wide acuity spectrum Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in a high-volume trauma environment Administer medications, initiate IVs, and perform procedures per scope of practice Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the care team Document accurately within EPIC EMR Pediatric ED candidates: Deliver age-appropriate, family-centered emergency care to pediatric patients Contribute to a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement What We're Looking For Active RN License in Illinois (or compact license eligible for IL) Minimum 1 year ED experience is a MUST Pediatric ED candidates: Pediatric or PICU experience strongly preferred BLS required; ACLS and/or TNCC preferred; PALS preferred for Pediatric ED Strong critical thinking skills and ability to thrive in high-acuity environments Why Edward-Elmhurst Health?
