Our client is a dedicated small part assembly firm based in Fullerton, CA, committed to delivering precision and quality. They thrive on efficiency, teamwork, and attention to detail. They are currently seeking an experienced leader to oversee the production floor, champion the workforce, and ensure daily operations run flawlessly.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Candidate must be bilingual in English and Spanish
• 3+ years of experience managing production or assembly workers, within a manufacturing or small part assembly environment .
• Exceptional "people skills" to motivate, listen, and build trust, combined with a firm, no-nonsense approach to compliance and accountability.
• Clear, direct, and professional communication skills—both verbal and written.
• A proactive mindset with the ability to troubleshoot floor issues on the fly.

The Role

We are looking for a Production Manager who understands that effective leadership requires both excellent interpersonal skills and a firm backbone. In this role, you will manage a team of assembly workers, taking ownership of daily output, workflow optimization, and quality control. You will be the guiding force on the floor—approachable enough to build strong morale and resolve conflicts, yet resolute enough to strictly enforce safety, attendance, and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Floor Leadership: Direct and oversee daily activities on the assembly floor, ensuring that all production targets and precision standards are consistently met.
• Team Management: Supervise, train, and mentor production workers. Handle shift scheduling, performance evaluations, and on-the-spot conflict resolution.
• Enforce Standards (Firm & Fair): Maintain strict adherence to workplace safety protocols, company policies, and quality control measures. Hold team members accountable for performance and conduct.
• Process Optimization: Monitor workflow, identify bottlenecks in the small part assembly process, and implement practical solutions to increase efficiency without sacrificing accuracy.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Communicate effectively with inventory, quality assurance, and upper management to keep the supply chain moving smoothly.
