Location: Aventura, Florida

Start Date: 03-30-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM or 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM, rotating weekends for call

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $47 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide high-quality physical therapy evaluations and treatments to patients in an inpatient rehabilitation unit
Develop and implement individualized care plans to help patients achieve their functional goals
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other therapists to ensure comprehensive patient care
Document patient progress accurately in the Meditech system
Educate patients and families on therapeutic exercises, adaptive equipment, and safety precautions
Participate in team conferences and contribute to discharge planning

Qualifications

Active Physical Therapy license in Florida (required)
Current BLS certification (required)
At least 2 years of physical therapy experience (required)
IRF or SNF experience preferred
Previous travel experience is a plus
Ability to adapt quickly to a fast-paced environment and work independently

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in using Meditech for documentation
Experience with rehabilitation equipment such as treadmill, car simulators, RT300, Bioness systems, and BITS
Strong clinical reasoning and assessment skills
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Compassionate and patient-centered approach
