This position is for the regional head of Ops Analytics Strat in NY. The candidate would focus on team management, technical oversight, and driving the regional strategy. Key Responsibilities Own the local vision and day‑to‑day management of the team in NY Oversee and mentor the team in its application of statistics, econometrics, and machine learning for forecasting, prediction, and pattern recognition to support data‑driven decision making Guide the use of data and analytics to answer business questions and make recommendations, including design of its visualization delivery Drive and review the development of software to aid and streamline the application of analytics Collaborate with end users, senior management, and business partners to align analytics initiatives with business objectives Qualifications 7+ years total experience Experience managing a team of at least five people 4+ years programming experience in a general‑purpose language (Java, C, Python, Scala) Experience in probability, statistics, and regression analysis Bachelor’s degree in a technical area (Math, Computer Science, Physics, or Engineering) Goldman Sachs is an equal employment/affirmative action employer Female/Minority/Disability/Vet.
