Licensed Practical Nurse / Licensed Vocational NurseWe are seeking a detail-oriented and empathetic Licensed Practical Nurse or Licensed Vocational Nurse to join our treatment team. This role involves dispensing prescribed medications in collaboration with Physicians and Nursing Supervisors while maintaining a supportive and non-judgmental attitude toward patients with Substance Use Disorders.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Administer daily medication to patients according to program policies and medical protocols.Utilize automated dispensing systems, calibrate pumps, and maintain dispensing equipment.Produce and maintain necessary records and reports in compliance with company protocols, Federal, and State regulations.Ensure compliance with security standards for the distribution and storage of controlled substances as per regulatory guidelines.Order, receive, and stock medications in alignment with DEA and State regulations (if granted Power of Attorney).Conduct daily assessments of patients.Assist Nursing Supervisor in orienting new nursing staff.Perform other related duties as determined by supervisory staff.Please note that this position is within an Opioid Treatment Program (OTP) clinic.Required Qualifications:Minimum of 1 year of medication administration experience.Experience in an opioid addiction center is highly preferred.Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.Completion of a skills checklist.Submission of two supervisory reference forms.This is a full-time position with a guaranteed 40-hour workweek.
