Production WorkersSnelling Staffing is hiring for Production Workers in the Canton Area. Weekly Pay $17 an hour. Production experience required. Strong measurement skills (able to read a tape measure). Must have steel toe boots or shoes. Assists production laborers with production tasks.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:– Places products in equipment or on work surfaces for further processing, inspecting, or wrapping.– Loads and unloads items from machines, conveyors, and conveyances.– Cares for machines, adds coolant to reservoirs of machines, and lubricates machine parts.– Helps start machines or equipment to begin production processes.– Helps production workers by performing duties of lesser skill, such as supplying or holding materials or tools, or cleaning work areas and equipment.Profile Level Description:– Work is prescribed and completed with close supervision and little autonomy.– Duties are clearly defined and methods and tasks are described in detail.Qualifications:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.Education and Experience:HS diploma or GED preferred. Less than 1 year of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.Competency Summary:– Completes assignments on or ahead of schedule and accomplishes assigned work in an organized, timely manner.– Maintains a level of productivity that is sufficient to accomplish assigned tasks.– Follows established safety policies and procedures.– Completes tasks with minimal errors.– Reports to work on time and communicates schedule changes promptly to supervisor.
