Material Handler

Crown Staffing is hiring: Material Handler - Wilmington, OH
Hours: Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM
Pay: $16+/hr
Crown Staffing is seeking a dependable Material Handler to join our team in Wilmington. This hands-on role involves moving, loading, unloading, and handling materials within the facility or work site to support production and operations.
Key Responsibilities:

• Read shop packets, bills of lading, or follow instructions to identify materials to be moved
• Load and unload materials onto/from pallets, trays, racks, and shelves by hand
• Move materials to designated storage or work areas and load materials into vehicles as needed
• Count, weigh, and record units of materials moved or handled
• Operate industrial trucks to assist in moving materials and products
• Perform cycle counts of storage locations and inventory
• Prepare materials for outside services
• Communicate with buyers and engineering regarding materials
• Perform other duties as assigned

• High School Diploma or GED preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Forklift certification (required in designated areas)
• Willingness to work overtime and Saturdays as scheduled
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions and perform required documentation
• Basic math skills: addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division with whole numbers, fractions, and decimals
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to apply common sense and follow instructions in written, oral, or diagram form

• Hands-on work in a manufacturing environment
• Physically capable of lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
