The Operating Room Supervisor oversees the daily operations of the surgical suite and provides leadership to the OR team. This role ensures efficient workflow, appropriate staffing, equipment readiness, inventory management, regulatory compliance, and team development. The supervisor serves as a key operational leader and partner to the Director of Nursing and Administrator in maintaining a high-performing surgical environment.

What You'll Do:

• Lead daily OR operations to ensure efficient patient flow and on-time case starts
• Coordinate staffing and team coverage to support surgical schedules
• Ensure supplies, instrumentation, and equipment are available and ready for scheduled cases
• Partner with physicians and clinical teams to deliver an exceptional patient experience
• Mentor, coach, and develop clinical teammates
• Facilitate onboarding, orientation, and ongoing staff education
• Monitor inventory levels and collaborate on cost-effective supply management
• Assist with vendor relationships, equipment evaluations, and purchasing decisions
• Support accreditation, regulatory compliance, and quality initiatives
• Collaborate with leadership on operational improvements and strategic goals
• Participate in budgeting and capital equipment planning

What We're Looking For:

• Registered Nurse (RN) required
• Previous Operating Room experience required
• Leadership, charge nurse, coordinator, or supervisory experience preferred
• Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of surgical services operations, regulatory compliance, and patient safety practices
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and team-building skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment

Required Qualifications:

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Current BLS certification
• Minimum of 5 years of Operating Room (OR) nursing experience
• Strong working knowledge of day-to-day OR operations

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous supervisory, charge nurse, coordinator, or leadership experience
• Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) experience
• Experience with surgical services staffing, inventory management, and physician collaboration
• Strong leadership, communication, and team development skills
