Now Hiring: On-Call Hospice Registered Nurse (RN)
Serenity Hospice is seeking a compassionate and experienced On-Call Registered Nurse (RN) to support patients and families across Lehigh, Northampton, and Berks Counties. This role follows a 7 days on / 7 days off schedule, providing flexibility while delivering critical after-hours care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to after-hours and on-call needs for hospice patients
- Provide skilled nursing care, symptom management, and urgent interventions
- Deliver compassionate support and education to patients and families
- Coordinate care with the interdisciplinary hospice team
- Complete accurate and timely documentation
Qualifications:
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Pennsylvania
- Minimum of 1 year nursing experience (hospice or home health preferred)
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and patient-centered care approach
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
