RBT (Registered Behavior Technician)Salary: Per ContractHours: School HoursReports To: Principal/SupervisorQualifications:Current Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification through the BACBExperience working with students with autism, developmental disabilities, and/or behavioral needsPrior experience in an autism behavioral support role is preferredWorking knowledge of positive behavioral practicesExperience with behavior management and implementation of behavior intervention plansData collection experience strongly preferredKnowledge of applicable education laws, regulations, and school-based practicesAbility to collaborate effectively with teachers, related service providers, administrators, and familiesStrong interpersonal, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skillsCommitment to supporting students' academic and behavioral growthEssential Duties & ResponsibilitiesThe Registered Behavior Technician will:Provide behavior-analytic services under the direct supervision of a BCBA/RBT Supervisor, in accordance with BACB standardsImplement individualized behavior intervention plans and support strategiesCollect, record, and report behavioral and skill-based data on a daily basisSupport students in academic settings, including classrooms and related service environmentsCollaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support student success through appropriate accommodations and modificationsPromote skill acquisition, independence, and generalization across settingsAssist the BCBA with behavioral programming and progress monitoringCreate and maintain a safe, structured, and supportive learning environmentSupport instruction using evidence-based practices, including RTI-aligned strategies when appropriateMonitor and supervise students using effective behavior and classroom management techniquesDocument student progress and communicate concerns with the appropriate school staffMaintain professional communication with students, colleagues, and families regarding student progressPromote equity, inclusion, and appreciation of diversity, including support for students with IEPsAdhere to district policies, professional standards, and ethical practicesParticipate in professional development and required trainingsMaintain RBT certification and engage in ongoing professional growthCrisis Prevention Institute TrainedPerform other duties as assigned by the Building Principal or Administrator of Special Education
