Ultrasonographer (Ultrasound Tech) – Ultrasound specialty, travel assignment in York, Maine. Start date: 09/07/2026. Duration: 13 weeks. Weekly pay: $1,916–$1,951 per week. Guaranteed hours: 40 per week. Shift: Rotating. Setting: hospital travel assignment.

Responsibilities
- Perform clinical assessment and diagnostic ultrasound examinations with focus on patient safety and comfort
- Apply cognitive sonographic skills to acquire and adapt images across general abdominal, small parts, vascular, and OB/GYN including fetal surveys
- Use independent judgment to differentiate normal from pathologic findings and scene-specific imaging techniques
- Analyze sonograms, synthesize findings with medical history, and communicate results to the referring physician
- Maintain accurate patient records, document exam findings, and ensure equipment and work area are clean and ready for use
- Demonstrate flexibility with scheduling, participate in on-call duties, and respond to calls within 30 minutes when needed

Requirements
- Active certification by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS)
- Graduate of a formal diagnostic medical sonography program; Bachelor of Science in Diagnostic Medical Sonography is preferred
- 2+ years of experience preferred; proficiency in general abdominal, small parts, vascular, and OB/GYN including fetal survey scanning
- Ability to work independently and within a team in a hospital travel setting
- Demonstrated ability to read, communicate effectively, and maintain patient confidentiality
