Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse / Cardiac Telemetry

Start Date: August 2026

Location:Alexandria LA

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Night shift, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, 36 or 48 hours per week guaranteed. Every other weekend required. Float as needed to support facility needs.

Highlights:

• Cardiac telemetry unit specializing in MI, CHF, arrhythmias, peripheral vascular disease, and medical-surgical overflow
• Manage cardiac drip therapies and provide critical monitoring for complex cardiac patients
• Nurse-to-patient ratio of 5:1, occasionally 6:1
• No on-call requirement
• Comprehensive onboarding with designated preceptor and competency validation program
• Temp-to-permanent placement opportunity available

Requirements:

• Active RN License in state of employment or Compact state
• BLS certification from AHA (required)
• ACLS certification from AHA (required)
• One year of experience in cardiac or telemetry nursing specialty preferred
• Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred
• Ability to float to other units when needed
