QA Staging and Inspection Associate Vista, CA

Schedule Monday‑Friday, 5:00 am–1:30 pm / 6:00 am–2:30 pm / 7:00 am–3:30 pm (To be discussed with Manager) Compensation $21–$23 per hour Position Summary Performs inspection of raw materials, packaging components, intermediates, third‑party bulks and finished goods for compliance with Acceptable Quality Limits (AQL). Pulls samples from each lot for testing and retention, adheres to SOP, GDP and cGMP, maintains the Master Incoming Inspection Tracker, stages materials for the QA Inspection Team, returns inspected products to warehouse racks, assists in disposition marking, and maintains safety practices and forklift certification as required. Essential Functions Staging with forklift of raw materials, packaging components, labels, intermediates, and third‑party bulks for QA Inspection. Affixing disposition placards on all pallets of material that has been inspected by QA or the QC Lab. Inspections of raw materials, packaging components, labels, intermediates, third‑party bulks and finished goods; pulling required samples per the Sampling paperwork within the specified time and priority. Printing and/or completing all required documentation in the applicable sampling specification report and on an Inventory Card; documenting any quality‑related product findings. Affixing disposition placards on all pallets in all lots of inspected material and the same disposition on the Inventory Card. Updating and maintaining the Master Incoming Inspection Tracker for inspection results, dates and reports. Reporting general safety hazards to Materials and Compliance Specialist, QA Manager and QA Director. Performing any other duties assigned by Supervisor or Manager, including retrieving retention samples or pulling extra samples per management requests. Weekly and monthly tasks such as replacing chart recorders, settling plates, destroying raw materials as needed. Other duties as assigned. Experience required: 2+ years. Forklift certified (standing and sitting). Ability to lift, bend, climb and reach. Effective communication skills, including reading and writing in English; bilingual Spanish helpful but not required. Previous QA experience highly preferred. Flexibility in work hours preferred. Team player, excellent work ethics and ability to multitask, attention to detail and flexibility to changing priorities.
