Medical Assistant

Job Description Job Description We are seeking a MEDICAL ASSISTANT to become a part of our pediatric team! You will perform routine administrative and clinical assignments to keep the medical facility running smoothly As a Medical Assistant you will be responsible for providing administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the medical office. You will support doctor and patients through a variety of tasks related to patient care management, organization and communication. The target is to complete all activities accurately, with high quality and in a timely manner. Working hours are from Monday to Thursday 2pm to 6 pm and Friday from 1 pm to 6 pm Responsibilities * Interview patients and document basic medical history * Take vitals and document findings in the patient chart * Review annual wellness questionaire with appropriate patients * Organize and schedule appointments for wellness check ups * Enter laboratory services * Administer injections, perform urinalysis and other lab tests. Keep vaccine logs and refrigerators logs and learn about vaccine management in general * Assist during medical examinations * Triage patient calls, assess the problem, consult with the physician * Produce and distribute correspondence memos, letters, faxes and forms * Prepare and clean treatment rooms and medical instruments Skills * Proven working experience as a medical assistant * Knowledge of medical office management systems and procedures * Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work * Social perceptiveness and service oriented * Punctual and self-disciplined * Excellent written and verbal communication skills * Strong organizational and planning skills * Degree in medical assistance Salary to be determined based on experience, job interview Company Description we are a pediatric practice servicing children and families in our community for 25 years Company Description we are a pediatric practice servicing children and families in our community for 25 years
