Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Step into a dynamic School Psychologist role dedicated to providing comprehensive psychological services to students in a leading Texas school system. This full-time, onsite position spans several campuses, offering a unique opportunity to collaborate closely with educators, families, and special education teams. You'll conduct evaluations, manage cases, and support the academic and emotional well-being of students—all while working in an environment that values expertise and teamwork.
Key Requirements:
- Valid Texas School Psychologist License (LSSP)
- Recent experience in a school-based setting
- Demonstrated proficiency in conducting Full Individual Evaluations (FIEs)
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with staff and families
- Reliable transportation for required travel among multiple campuses
- Onsite attendance required—remote work is not an option
Core Responsibilities:
- Participate in Student Support Team meetings
- Obtain consent and serve as case manager for Full Individual Evaluations (FIEs)
- Perform comprehensive psychoeducational assessments
- Present findings at Admission, Review, and Dismissal (ARD) meetings
- Maintain meticulous documentation and adhere to state/district timelines
- Coordinate with special education personnel, campus leadership, and classroom teachers
- Support approximately 3–4 school campuses across the assignment
