As a Medical Research Representative at ICON, you will contribute to our facilities management function, working collaboratively to deliver high-quality outcomes across our clinical programs

Location: On-Site San Antonio TX 78232

Job Type: PRN/As Needed

Shift/Schedule : Sunday-Wednesday Nights 7 PM-7 AM

What You Will Do:

You will take responsibility for clinical research deliverables, applying your skills to ensure quality and efficiency.

Key responsibilities include:

• Support day-to-day clinical site and facility operations to ensure a safe, organized, and efficient environment.
• Build and maintain positive working relationships with research site personnel, investigators, and internal teams.
• Serve as a point of contact for routine site inquiries, providing timely support and escalating issues as needed.
• Assist with study-related and operational activities, including transporting samples, tracking meals, preparing rooms, and supporting site needs.
• Perform routine cleaning and sanitization of workspaces, common areas, restrooms, and break rooms in accordance with established procedures.
• Monitor and replenish supplies, dispose of waste appropriately, and report maintenance or facility concerns.
• Support site visits, meetings, and special events through setup, cleanup, and logistical coordination.
• Assist with tracking activities, maintaining records, and following established procedures to support quality, compliance, and efficient operations.
  

Your Profile:
Required qualifications and experience:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Prior/current experience in food service, healthcare, or structured environment preferred
• Ability to follow safety and sanitation protocols
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to follow written instructions and adhere to structured processes
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel (general computer literacy)
• Ability to learn and navigate electronic systems, logs, and templates
• Willingness to learn clinical study protocols, and patient timelines (meal timing, fasting requirements)
• Ability to support clinical floor operations (transporting samples, tracking meals)
• Flexibility for early morning shifts / reliable attendance
