Senior Medical Director of Pathology - $708k base salary

OPPORTUNITY:

Looking for a Board Certified Urologist to serve as Senior Medical Director of our well established, hospital employed practice.  This a full time position offering flexible scheduling.  Leadership experience preferred.

COMPENSATION:

\n

\n
• Base salary of $708,320 * for initial two year contract.
\n

\n

 

\n

* 5% less for those not yet boarded, salary adjusted accordingly upon board certification

\n

 

\n

2-year contract also includes:

\n

\n
• Vacation: 272 hours of holidays/sick days (34 PTO days). 
\n
• CME/Books & Journals : 80 hours (10 days PTO) and up to $7,000
\n
• Deferred compensation:  457b plan.  Defer compensation up to IRS limit of $24,500 year before taxes. No matching.
\n
• Retirement / Savings Plan: 403b plan. Defer compensation up to IRS limit of $24,500 year before taxes under age 50 and $31,000 for over age 50.  SOMC matches dollar for dollar up to 2% of base pay.

• Moving Expense :   $10,000 paid to moving company
\n

\n
• Malpractice Insurance Coverage: in a claims made insurance, in an amount of $2,000,000, per claim/$6,000,000, aggregate
\n
• Health Insurance: physician pays small premium, deducted from paycheck
\n
• Liquidated Damages : 70 mile and 2 year non-compete clause or liquidated damages of one year salary
\n
• Medical School Loan Repayment: repay up to $200,000 ($25,000 per year for each year of service commitment)
\n
• Residency Stipend: up to $25,000 (requires up to 2 year service commitment)
\n
• Sign on Bonus: 15% of base salary up to $100,000 (paid when contract signed and forgiven over 2-4 years depending on amount of bonus)

• 2 Nurse Practitioners, 3 Medical Office Assistants, 6 Clinical Staff, 1 Surgery Scheduler, and 1 UDS Technician

• 15-20 patients/day in outpatient clinic, 3-4 half day clinics
\n
• 4-8 procedures/day in the OR
\n
