Registered Nurse (RN) - Med Surg

Registered Nurse Respiratory
Schedule: Shift: Nights (7 PM - 7:30 AM) Hours: 36 hours/week Every other weekend required
Assignment Details: Contract Length: 13 weeks Guaranteed Hours: 36
Requirements: Active RN license in the state Current BLS certification Minimum 3 years of recent Telemetry and/or Stepdown experience Proficiency with Epic EMR
Roles & Responsibilities: Provide nursing care primarily to patients in the Respiratory unit, including those diagnosed with COVID-19. Float as needed to other Med-Surg units such as Wound Care, Stroke, Oncology, and Cardiac. Monitor patient telemetry and perform necessary assessments. Collaborate with healthcare team members to plan and implement patient care. Educate patients and families regarding health conditions and care plans.
Compliance / Notes: Must pass a competency test for Telemetry on the first day of employment. Requested Time Off (RTO) must be disclosed at the time of submission. Agency contracts must mirror the confirmation page exactly.
