Furniture Delivery Driver

Responsibilities:
Safely operate a 26ft box truck to deliver and pick up furniture and related items.
Load, secure, transport, and unload products while ensuring items are handled with care.
Lift, carry, and maneuver items up to 50 lbs. independently and heavier items with team assistance.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure proper maintenance and safety compliance.
Follow assigned delivery routes and schedules to ensure timely and efficient service.
Communicate effectively with dispatch, warehouse staff, and customers regarding delivery updates or issues.
Provide professional, courteous, and efficient service to customers during deliveries and pickups.
Assist with basic assembly, placement, or setup of furniture as needed at delivery sites.
Report any vehicle issues, accidents, or delivery concerns promptly to management.
Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the truck and equipment.

Qualifications:
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
DOT Medical required
Proven experience operating a box truck or other large delivery vehicle.
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. regularly and safely.
Strong time management and punctuality; able to meet tight schedules.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Familiarity with GPS, mapping applications, and basic paperwork/documentation.
Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends, as business needs require.
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
