Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery

Location: Rio Grande, TX

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: 7P - 7A

Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Labor and Delivery team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in labor and delivery nursing, delivering quality care to both patients and families during critical moments.

Responsibilities:

• Provide individualized patient care to laboring patients.
• Assist in operating room procedures, including C-sections.
• Monitor fetal heart rates and manage labor progression.
• Utilize EMR (Meditech) for documentation and patient records.
• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Active RN license with Labor and Delivery experience required.
• NRP, BLS, and EFM certifications are mandatory.
• BSN preferred.
