The Membership Sales Associate builds relationships with prospects, fills V101 opportunities, follows up consistently and confidently helps qualified prospects choose an approved Vertica membership.PRIMARY RESULTConvert qualified leads into happy Vertica members through fast, relational and consistent follow-up.HOW WE SELLAt Vertica, sales is service. We listen first, understand the prospect's goals, explain approved options clearly, follow up consistently and confidently invite the right person to become a member. Trust matters more than pressure.WHAT YOU'LL DO• Work new leads daily and make outbound sales calls.• Follow up by phone, text and email; leave messages and personalize follow-up notes.• Book prospects into V101 and help fill available V101 classes.• Confirm V101 attendance before class and on the day of class.• Build rapport, learn prospect goals and introduce approved membership options accurately.• Ask confidently for the sale and process authorized memberships/upgrades.• Follow up promptly with no-shows and V101 participants who do not purchase.• Re-engage older leads and use approved outreach/campaigns.• Record calls, conversations, appointments, tasks, outcomes and sales in approved systems.• Support promotions, events and an exceptional prospect/member experience.WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR• Warm, confident and comfortable making outbound calls.• Persistent without being pushy; willing to ask directly for the sale.• Goal-driven, organized and disciplined about follow-up.• Strong listener who can connect a prospect's goals to approved solutions.• Coachable, accountable and comfortable working from a clear performance scoreboard.• Comfortable with CRM technology and performance metrics.• Experience in fitness/membership sales, apartment leasing, hospitality, med spa/beauty, wireless, commission retail or inside sales is especially relevant.CULTURE STANDARD• Create belonging in every interaction - prospects should feel seen, respected and welcome.• Use approved pricing, offers and membership terms; never invent discounts, guarantees or exceptions.• Own the follow-up. Do not let qualified prospects fall through the cracks.• Protect trust: communicate honestly, document accurately and escalate questions outside your authority.• Support the team with low ego, high energy and a service mindset.YOUR SCOREBOARD• Lead contact activity and response speed.• V101 bookings and show rate.• Memberships sold and conversion rate.• Sales revenue and follow-up completion.• Accuracy of CRM/client records.COMPENSATIONPart-time hourly base plus performance incentives.
