Forklift Operator

Located in Fernley

Shift: Mon-Fri (overtime on Sat when needed) 6am to 2:30p

Position Overview

The Forklift Operator is responsible for safely operating powered industrial trucks to move raw materials, finished goods, and packaging throughout the facility. This role supports production, shipping, and warehouse operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate sit-down and/or stand-up forklifts safely and efficiently
• Load, unload, move, stack, and stage materials and finished products
• Supply production lines with necessary materials
• Remove finished goods from production areas and transport to storage or shipping
• Perform daily forklift inspections and report maintenance issues
• Follow all safety, quality, and housekeeping standards
• Assist with general warehouse or production tasks as needed

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift, push, or pull materials as required
• Frequent standing, walking, bending, and reaching
• Comfortable working in a manufacturing or warehouse environment

Qualifications

• Previous forklift experience preferred
• Ability to obtain or maintain forklift certification
• Strong attention to safety and detail
• Reliable attendance and ability to work scheduled shifts
• Manufacturing or warehouse experience a plus

Work Environment

• Industrial manufacturing/warehouse setting
• Exposure to noise, dust, and moving equipment
