Position: Marketing Operations Specialist, Full time Location: U.S. based Remote or Austin, TX Compensation: Competitive, based on experience ($60,000–$75,000). This could be the role you have been searching for. As our Marketing Operations Specialist, you will run the production engine behind RumbleUp marketing. You will own the content, graphics, video and website updates that keep our brand visible, along with the CRM systems that pass qualified leads from marketing to sales. You will also play a crucial role in optimizing the processes that drive efficiency across the entire customer journey funnel. This position is essential to our success in keeping pace with accelerating market demand and new opportunities. You will report directly to the Director of Marketing, who leads brand voice, content strategy, SEO, AEO, GEO, CRM and analytics, and you will collaborate with the sales team and outside freelancers to keep every channel on schedule and on standard. This Role Includes Monday – Friday work week Remote work or in office from Austin, TX Content Creation Write, edit and publish articles, social media posts, newsletters and client text campaigns in the RumbleUp brand voice Uphold consistent editorial standards and factual accuracy across every asset Design & Video Create standalone graphics, article graphics, one-pagers, infographics, carousels and display ads Produce and edit short-form video in Canva and Klap for social, web and campaign use Website & Search Visibility Update and maintain website content through our CMS Optimize pages and content for SEO, AEO and GEO so RumbleUp surfaces in search engines and AI-generated answers Research & Insights Conduct market and strategy research on industry trends, competitors and buyer behavior Turn findings into recommendations that sharpen content plans and campaigns CRM & Lead Operations Build and manage HubSpot workflows, sequences and properties that move qualified leads from marketing to sales Maintain accurate, current contact data so sales always works from clean information Coordination & Process Coordinate freelancers on scope, deadlines and quality Evaluate, implement and document new marketing tools and processes Organize and track work in Asana to keep projects on time and visible Own ad hoc projects, from team happy hours to our annual client gift box send Key Competencies Taste: you can't teach taste easily - it’s earned from reps and from consuming over time, not by prompting Marketing fundamentals: understanding people, psychology, copywriting, the art of persuasion. AI can now write you a headline in 2 seconds, but if you don't understand why 1 headline works and another doesn't, you're not there. Writing & Editing: publish-ready marketing copy with consistent editorial standards and factual accuracy Design & Video: confident in Canva and experience with AI video tools such as Klap; professional video editing experience on proper software is a plus Search Visibility: working command of SEO with the drive to master AEO and GEO Marketing Systems: familiarity with LLMs, HubSpot, WordPress and Asana Political Fluency: understanding of how customer needs shift across levels of office and between election cycles Organization: sharp attention to detail and the urgency to prioritize effectively Initiative: entrepreneurial spirit, proactive mindset and independent problem solving Communication: clear written and verbal skills with the ability to collaborate across teams and across companies Accountability Metrics Production & Publishing Minimum content requirements = 2 short form videos, 1 article, 1 newsletter, 1 client text, and 4 social media posts across all platforms per month Minimum website requirement = 1 substantial content or SEO/AEO/GEO change/improvement per week On-time completion rate across content, design and web tasks: 95%+ Editorial and factual accuracy on published assets: 98%+ CRM & Lead Operations Minimum CRM/automation requirement = 1 substantial CRM-related change/improvement per week (automation, reports, list building, property maintenance, etc). HubSpot contact data accuracy: 98%+ Qualified lead handoff from marketing to sales: same business day Process & Coordination Process improvement initiatives implemented: 1-2 per quarter Average first response time to internal requests & correspondence: under 8 hours Average first response time to external freelancer/agency requests & correspondence: under 24 hours Requirements We Look For Hands-on experience creating marketing content and graphics; include a portfolio or 5-10 work samples with your application including writing, video, graphic, and technical examples. 3–5 years of B2B marketing operations or a related field preferred Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, English, Communications or Political Science preferred Experience in the world of politics to understand how customer needs shift across levels of office and between election cycles preferred Familiarity with LLMs, HubSpot, WordPress, Canva and Asana preferred; experience with AI video tools such as Klap is a plus Proactive mindset with a willingness to adapt to new trends, tools and technologies Strong organizational skills and sharp attention to detail Entrepreneurial spirit and a high sense of urgency to prioritize tasks effectively Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across teams Demonstrated ability to work independently and take initiative in problem solving Able to furnish professional and personal references upon request Get to Know Us Better!
