Welding Associate
Our client, a respected leader in metal fabrication and industrial services, is seeking a skilled welder fitter to join their growing team. This is a 1st shift position Monday-Thursday 6am-4:30pm, Friday 6am-2:30pm, some Saturdays 6am-12pm. This role is essential to daily manufacturing operations and focuses on delivering high-quality welds and precise metal fabrication. If you take pride in your craftsmanship, work well in a fast-paced environment, and want consistent overtime, this could be a great fit.
What you'll do:
- Perform MIG welding on various materials.
- Read and interpret blueprints and fabrication drawings.
- Measure, cut, and fit materials with accuracy using tape measures and layout tools.
- Complete required weld tests, including fillet weld (T-joint) tests.
- Maintain quality and safety standards throughout the fabrication process.
Skills and experience:
- 2+ years of welding and metal fabrication experience.
- Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints.
- Confident use of tape measures and measuring tools.
- Reliable, safety-minded, and willing to work overtime as needed.
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
