Title
Inpatient L&D PACU RN - Nursing

Weekends every other weekend (unless otherwise specified)

Requirements
- RN licensure required at time of submission: GA license or Compact license
- Minimum of 2 years RN experience
- Travel experience required
- Charting system experience: Epic required
- Required certifications: BLS, ACLS
- Experience in PACU Phase I & II, pre/post-op care
- Skills in IV start/maintenance, peripheral & central/PICC line care
- Knowledge in vasopressors/hemodynamic medication management, blood product administration, and PCA pump management
- Proficiency in post-epidural care, general postop monitoring, and 12-lead EKG
- Competency in phlebotomy, medication reconciliation, and pain management

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive post-anesthesia care and monitoring for patients in recovery
- Assess patient conditions, vital signs, and response to interventions
- Administer medications and manage IV therapies as ordered
- Ensure accurate documentation of patient progress and care provided
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for optimal patient outcomes
- Educate patients and families regarding postoperative care and recovery

Compliance / Notes
- Orientation: 24 hours standard; Non-billable Orientation (NBO) hours determined by contract length
- COVID-19 vaccine: Not required
- Flu vaccine: Required (medical/religious exemptions only)
- RTO (Request Time Off): Max 7 days per contract; all RTO must be finalized at time of submission
- Full compliance required to start on time; delays may push start ~2 weeks (bi-weekly orientation schedule)
